Swapped out the front grille, courtesy of a car club member. It’s an old, used grille, and some of the chrome looks to be coming off at the edges in some places. Thinking about getting it re-chromed, or repainted in the same OE paint (silver birch metallic) as the body. What does everyone think about that?
As an aside, I visited a collision shop in Kirkland and got a quote for getting the roof restored. The trunk will come later, or I will just source an unmolested replacement and get that painted.
It’s gonna cost me a little north of $1600 to get the six roof holes welded shut.

EDIT: Unfortunately,
Mercury
is already taken for a vanity plate. I also tried PO210 (referring to Polonium 210), which is an invalid combination. Boooo!

I found a combination that works. Gonna dip into my savings account and order the plates now.
Edit: Actually wait, I’m just gonna write down a reminder when the tabs are due to expire so I can just renew for the new personalizeds.

I’d go with a re-chrome to the grill. And I’d get the mouth guard powdercoated in a darker shade of the body colour.
